Chat and tasks
Calls and their minutes
A call inside the platform keeps its context: the conversation that called it, and the project or client it concerns — so its decisions do not live only in the memory of whoever attended.
Steps
- Start the call from the conversation itself, so everyone in it is notified.
- Share your screen when showing is faster than writing.
- Write the minutes when it ends: what was agreed, who does what, and by when.
- Turn each commitment in the minutes into a task with an owner and a date — otherwise the minutes are just a written memory.
Worth knowing
- Five lines written immediately beat a detailed record that is postponed and never written.
- Link the minutes to the project, so whoever joins the team later can read them without asking anyone.
